In conjunction to Thunderbird Stadium renovations, the $1.1 million Academic Centre began construction as of Spring 2015. The Centre will aid in the academic development of the Varsity football team and provide a new space for achieving academic excellence. As part of the 13th Man Foundation, this 1,800 square foot facility is the first of its kind in Canada, enabling current and future Varsity football athletes to excel both on and off the field.
