The conditions of all fields at Thunderbird Park are inspected daily. Thunderbird Park Field Status Report will be updated when the status of a field has changed due to conditions such as: standing water, frozen grounds, snow cover, maintenance or UBC discretion.
Permit holders will be contacted by email with details of field closures at the times outlined below, and will be asked to contact their participants with closure or cancellation updates.
- For all bookings Monday to Friday afternoons/evenings – email sent by 12:00pm on the same day
- For all bookings Saturday and Sunday mornings/afternoons/evenings – email sent by 6:00pm the day before
Program participants should contact their organization first to inquire about programming cancellations.
