Recreation Centre North

Facility Overview

Located at the heart of UBC’s Vancouver Point Grey campus, Recreation Centre North (Rec North) features an indoor floor area of 101,000 square feet spread across three wood floor gymnasium courts; an elevated, indoor 200m track; a four-level fitness centre; multipurpose studios; and universal and gender-specific change areas. Rec North opened in July 2025 and was constructed to a LEED Gold green building standard and is Rick Hansen Foundation Certified.

Facility Rates

Prices in effect until March 31, 2026. Prices do not include GST.

There is a minimum rental time of 1 hour. Rentals of 10 hours or more will qualify for the day rate. Additional hours will be applied to rentals over 10 hours.

In order to qualify for the UBC Student rate, all participants must be current, registered UBC Students.
