Built in 1995, this facility was considered to be a companion piece to War Memorial Gym. The project was spearheaded by Nestor Korchinsky, a well-known campus personality who increased the sophistication of UBC’s intramural sports.
Past events that the SRC has hosted include the 2012 Law Games and the 2012 Marsville Space Fair.
